Hi thought I'd better show my face in here particularly as I had a visit from one of my Canadian followers on Saturday who was wondering where I was.
We were at Yarndale wool festival and she was visiting.
As I explained to her I don't go on the "big computer " much these days as I have a tablet and I've got lazy as far as taking pics then having to download then upload pics onto the blog. I did try to put pics on, on my tablet but it won't work.
So I was thinking as I now use Facebook and there is a facility to have personal blog page I may move the blog over there. I know some of you may not go on Facebook but I think you can acces Facebook pages without joining.
I'd be interested to know what you all think . Please let me know in the comments box . Ta :)

It would appear I've been missed by some of you so I thought I would rectify that by doing a quick post.
It's been a busy year what with one thing and another coupled with the fact my big computer is being really slow with uploading pics etc so hence one of the reasons blogs have been sparse.
I've now figured Blogger on my tablet so you may be in for a flurry of posts.
The biggest event of the year was the arrival of our latest Grandbear in April.
Will have to publish pic later as I'm having trouble uploading with the tablet now doh!!
I'm busy getting ready for Woolfest in two weeks time and if I get sorted I'll give you a preview .

As you can imagine I'm extremely pleased.
So I'll see you all there.
I think I'm in my usual spot but i will let you know if it's any different :0)

Month of Letters

I'm doing a bit of a challenge this month.
In this age of hi-tech with email texts and the like nobody takes the time to sit down and write a letter.
So this month I'm attempting to write a letter every day to someone.
I have got myself some nice notepaper and cartridges for my fountain pen .
I used to love writing and receiving letters and in my teens I had penpals all over the world.
It was great when the postman came and there was a letter for me.I never opened it straight away .I used to wait till I had time to sit down and savour the words.
When you send emails they dissapear into the ether to be read once and deleted .But with a letter you can read and re-read them .
If you'd like to slow down and maybe write someone a letter you can find out about the challengs HERE
If you'd like to receive a letter from me email me your address at info(at)laalbear(dot)co(dot)uk
and i'll write to you .
